PACIFIC HWY DEVELOPMENT
This is a mixed use comprising of serviced apartments, residential and retail. Of 2700 m2 GFA, the site is well served by metro stations and bus transit. The proposal capitalizes on sustainable transport, green roof, and resources harvesting (water and power) and WELL features to compensate for poor orientation. The brief is organized around an outdoor atrium, which acts as light well and increases natural cooling via stacked ventilation. An important part of the project is heritage interface address, as seen in the diagrams. Material palette includes CLT, steel plate, perforated panel/timbered privacy screen, and concrete.
