This is an open international competition for a 107 ha ecological township. Located 15 mi west of Hanoi’s center, the area is cut into four quadrants by a 60 m N-S boulevard and a 40m collector road. Our proposal envisions a gateway precinct and a lakefront community with resort style hospital campus being an economic driver for the town’s future growth. Alongside the boulevard are services, retail, healthcare and office campus serving as an economic and commercial corridor. A diversity in residential products and flexibility in rental/ownership patterns within walking distance to school, parks, playgrounds, lake, canals, promenades, transit, and hi-skilled jobs ensure creation of a livable neighborhood. Sustainability guides this development while maintains balance between development, environment and equity.
