This office is on the waterfront and currently under building permit. The design envisions a novel solution to stringent development envelope, for the program which includes lease office, client’s main office, roof top bar, 3 storey basements, and creative business lounge. The building form expresses boldness and fluidity of contemporary businesses. Ideas explored include zone-dependent building skins, stepped terraces, and sloped facade. On-site PV array and wind turbine are featured. The facade system consists of high performance close cavity glazing system, perforated louvre panels, and concrete. Provision of outdoor spaces at work desk levels facilitates staff’s re-connection with nature.
